India and South Africa introduced code of conduct against sexual exploitation of children

On the occasion of the Commonwealth Games, which will be held in October 2010 in New Delhi, the Indian Tourism Ministry launched a code of conduct to increase safety in tourism. It should protect both the local population as well as travellers in India. Similar measures have been taken in South Africa’s tourism industry in the course of the FIFA world championship 2010. Hunter tourism in South Africa: Petition initiated by FOUR PAWS

Tourism in South Africa is not only booming due to the world championship 2010- also hunter tourism is a widely spread phenomenon. The dead animals are being imported to the home country after hunting them- fun at the expense of protected races, especially lions in the case of “Canned Hunting”.
